BMW Motorrad recently launched BMW F 850 GS Adventure Pro in India at the price of Rs. 15.40 lakh (ex-showroom). This touring bike is meant for long distances. It was first introduced in 2018 EICMA in Milan, Spain. The sale of 2019 BMW F 850 GS Adventure Pro will be done through CBU (fully built-up unit) in India. ‘Pro’ is the only variant that will be available for sale in the Indian market. The booking of BMW F 850 GS Adventure Pro has begun on all dealerships of BMW Motorrad.
In the BMW F 850 GS Adventure Pro 853 cc of power, the in-line parallel-twin engine has been given. This engine is also present in regular BMW F 850 GS. However, the BMW F 850 GS gets an additional power of 5 bhp. The engine generates the maximum power of 94 bhp at 8250 rpm. However, there are no changes made in the output torque. Its engine generates peak torque of 86Nm at 6250 rpm. Its engine is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox.
BMW F 850 GS Adventure Pro’s top speed is 197 kilometres per hour. It has a new self-boost anti-hopping clutch, which helps in reducing engine drag torque. Apart from this, it helps to increase riding safety of the bike.
There are many heavy-duty types of equipment available in the BMW F 850 GS Adventure Pro. Among them, the cross-spoke wheels, 21-inch front wheels, 17-inch rear wheels, long travel upside down fork in front and an adjustable pre-load with rear wheels, long travel upside down fork in front and an adjustable pre-load with rear mono-shock. BMW F 850 GS Adventure Pro has a 23-litre fuel tank. Its seat height is 875 millimetres, which is 15 millimetres higher than the regular BMW F 850 GS Adventure.
BMW F 850 GS Adventure Pro will come with all new instrumental cluster in it. In this, Automatic Stability Control (ASC) provides better traction. Apart from this, the Rain and Road-dual riding modes have been provided for safety.
