After the launch of All-4 metre Sub SUV Hyundai Venue, Hyundai Motor India is going to launch its Kona EV in July. According to the sources, the company is going to launch its electric SUV in India on July 9, 2019. This will be the company first electronic brand in India. The price of all-new Hyundai Kona is expected to be Rs. 20 lakh and Rs. 25 lakh. Apart from this, it is expected that the company can offer 39.2 kWh of the battery, which is in the small capacity model in the International market.

In the price of Rs. 20 to Rs.25 lakh Indian rupees the all-new Hyundai Kona can prove to be quite an expensive car. The company will bring it through the CKD route and will be assembled in Sriperumbudur factory of Hyundai located near Chennai in India. Apart from this, speaking about the features, the company may include Hyundai’s Bluelink Connectivity technology, which was given in the recently launched Hyundai Venue. Apart from this, leather upholstery, soft-touch material, automatic climate control, LED projector headlamps and features like DRLs, electric sunroof, rain sensing wipers will be included in this.

Speaking about power specifications, Hyundai Kona EV will come with 39.2 kWh which will generate the power of 135 bhp and the torque of 335 Nm. Once fully charged, it is capable of covering a distance of 300 Kilometres. It takes 9.3 seconds to catch the speed of 0 to 100 Km per hour. Apart from this, Hyundai will also provide the buyer of all-new Hyundai with the fast charging kit.
