Harley Davidson is offering extremely challenging bike to the Royal Enfield

Royal Enfield has special influence within the premium bike segment in India. But US-based world’s renowned motorcycle manufacturing company Harley Davidson is now preparing to challenge Royal Enfield. Harley Davidson is now working on affordable bikes which will be from 250 cc to 350 cc. According to the media report, information about this development was given by the company’s president and CEO Matthew Levatich.

According to Matthew Levatich, president and CEO of the company, the company is the part of the company’s ‘More roads to Harley-Davidson’ growth plan. In many countries other than India, the market for the small-engine bike is fast growing. Harley Davidson is preparing to launch a new bike (cheapest model), in order to reach most of the people.  Harley-Davidson sells the company 750 cc bikes in India. It is sold in the International market with a 500cc engine.

According to the source, it is believed that the new bike will be built with the help of the local manufacturer. It will be exactly the same as ventures of BMW-TVS and Bajaj-KTM. But there is no information about that the Harley Davidson will be joining hands with another company or not. The new bike can get the engine of 250cc to 350cc, which will be generating the power of around 25 bhp. And it will be equipped with the 6-speed transmission. Speaking of features, the buyers can get features like sleeper clutch transmission, ABS and Dual disc brake.
