Renowned automobile manufacturing industry Kia Motors will soon to launch its new car, Celia (Kia Seltos) in India. The car in India will be competing with cars like the Hyundai Creta and Tata Harrier. The fitting and finish of the car have been very well liked.
According to the information from the different sources, the initial price of Celia is expected to be in the range of Rs. 11.5 to 12 lakh rupees. The price is around 2 Lakh higher than Hyundai Creta but there are many powerful features in this car.
The Kia Motors SUV will have three engine options. 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol, another 1.5-litre petrol and a third 1.5 – litre diesel engine. All engines are compatible with BS6 emission norms. There is a 6-speed manual transmission standard with a 1.5 – litre petrol and diesel engine. The option of an automatic gearbox in both engines is also available. 7-speed dual-clutch transmission with the 1.4-litre turbocharged engine will be available.
Kia Seltos is a connected car. There is a connectivity system called UVO Connect, which offers 37 features under 5 categories (Navigation, Safety-Security, Vehicle Management, Remote control and Convenience). This connected system features like Artificial Intelligence (AI) based on Stolen Vehicle Tracking and Immobilization, Voice command, safety alert, Remote control for air purifiers and remote engine start-stop.
This car has several driving modes and a terrain response system. Terrain response system has been given in Tata’s Harrier. In Seltos there are features such as traction control system, Brake assist system, stability control management and Terrain Response system.
