The Veteran Indian two-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj and KTM are jointly working on a high-end electric motorcycle. Bajaj and KTM are working together for a very long time as Bajaj acquires 48% share in KTM. Presently, the Government of India is emphasizing on the electric vehicle, in such situation both Brands are working together in strengthening their hold on electrical two-wheeler market.
The above information was provided by Bajaj’s Executive Director Rakesh Sharma during an interview, but no other information was shared in the interview.
KTM recently launched its RC 125 bike in India. The Company also started delivery of bike in India. The bike was launched at a price of Rs. 1.47 lakh. In India, this bike competes with Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0. The price of Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 is around Rs. 1.39 lakh. Speaking, about the features the bike has 6 –gearbox, 300mm discs at the front and 230mm discs at the rear. Like the KTM 125, Duke also offers Bosch single-channel ABS and rear Lift mitigation (RML).
Talking about the rest of the features, this bike has twin Projector headlamps with daytime running lamps and digital instrument console. The ground clearance of the bike is 157 mm. The bike weighs 154.2 kg. The design of the bike is similar to the KTM RC 390.
