Bajaj Auto is now in the verge of upgrading its Pulsar series popular bike Bajaj Pulsar 200NS. As per the media report, the bike is set to be brought with fuel injection technology and new BS6 engine. It is believed that the manufacturer will launch the upgraded model by the end of this current year.
Speaking about the engine, the current NS200 is powered by a 199.5 cc liquid-cooled, 4-valve, triple shark, BS-IV engine that generates 23.5hp power at 9500 rpm and a torque of 18.3Nm at 8000 rpm. Apart from this, the engine is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox. In the upgraded model of Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS, it will be equipped with fuel-injection and BS6 engine. Due to which the bike will consume more petrol than the current version. The pollution will also be controlled with the help of the BS6 engine.
The Bajaj Pulsar 200NS has a 280mm disc at the front and a 230 mm rear disc for braking. As per new traffic safety standards, single-channel ABS will also be included. Apart from this, telescopic forks will be provided in front of the bike and mono-shock in the rear, which is expected to be comfortable for a better ride.
Although there is no official announcement made about this bike from its manufacturer Bajaj Auto. But as per sources information, it is believed that new graphics will be used to improve the looks of the bike. The price of the current model of Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS is Rs. 1.12 lakh. But the new model will cost slightly more than the price of the current model.
