The KTM 790 Duke has been launched in India. It is the company’s most powerful engine bike in the country. KTM will sell it in India through CKD route. Its direct competition in the Indian market is powerful bikes like the 2019 Suzuki GSX-S750 and 2019 Kawasaki Z900.
The KTM 790 Duke is built in a single-piece aluminum subframe with trellis frame so that its overall weight remains light. Its design resembles that of the rest of the KTM bike. The company has given a sharp style fuel tank, inverted pitchfork LED headlamps, split seats and a chunky LED taillight. The bike has a TFT LCD screen so that the rider will get all information. Apart from this exhaust unit is placed under the seat.
The KTM 790 Duke is equipped with 799cc 4-stoke, 2- cylinder, the liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine produces maximum powers of 105 PS and peak torque of 87 NM. Its engine is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox transmission.
The KTM 790 Duke has a 300 mm 4-piston radial fixed caliper brake at the front. At the same time, it has a 240-millimeter 1-piston floating caliper disc brake at the rear. For safety, it has a Bosch 9MP two-channel ABS feature.
The KTM 790 Duke has a 43 mm WP upside-down suspension at the front. At the same time, it has preloaded adjuster with WP shock absorber at the rear.
The KTM 790 Duke’s ground clearance is 186 mm. At the same time, its seat height is 825 mm. The KTM 790 Duke will come with 14-liter fuel tanks and the price if the bike is around Rs. 8.63 lakh.
