Mercedes V-Class MPV to be Lunch in India

German Luxury car maker’s Mercedes Benz is all set to launch their V-class MPV in India around January 2019. Hence, it might be the first car to be launch in the year 2019.

In India, Mercedes V-class MPV will come with only one engine option –OM654 engine series 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel motor, which is presently available in the existing C-class and E-class vehicles. The Common Rail Injection diesel engine will produce the power of 192 bhp and peak torque of 400 nm. The engine will have 9-speed automatic gearbox. The engine of all new Mercedes V-class MPV will follow BS-VI emission norms, which is ascribed to diesel particulate matter, ad-Blue tank, etc.

The all-new V-class cabin will come with parts of existing S-class and C-class variants and the techniques used in them. Interior will have premium look due to the use of best-quality material like luxurious wood and leather. The all-new Mercedes V-class MPV will be available in three sizes namely- compact which will be 4895 mm long, long 5140 mm and extra-long of around 5370 mm. A longer size might be available for the Indian market.

In terms of safety and security, Mercedes V-class MPV will have safety features like Airbags, ABS, traction control, crosswind aid system and fatigue detection system.

Mercedes V-class MPV will be available in two variants – 6 –seater for individual users, which will have the option of the central table and 7- seater for commercial purposes.

The price of all new Mercedes V-class MPV will be around Rs. 75 lakhs to Rs. 80 lakhs.
