Renowned automobile manufacturing company Renault is all set to launch its most stylish SUV Capture with all-new updated features in the Indian Market. Apart from this, two variants of Renault Capture (RXL and RXT) have been discontinued. The most interesting and special thing is that the initial launch price of the all-new Renault Capture SUV is around 9.50 lakh (ex-showroom), which is 50,000/- rupees less than the actual price.
In view of the upcoming new safety norms, the company has included these updated features in the all-new updated Renault Capture. The all-new updated variant will be available in two variants namely RXE and Platina. For the first time, Renault has introduced its Platina variant with the Petrol engine, earlier Platina variants were only available with the Diesel engine. Speaking of new features, the all-new updated Renault Capture will come with rear parking sensors, driver and Co-driver seat-belt reminder and speed alert system. Dual airbags and ABS are already present in all variants of SUV.
Renault, in view of the new safety norms that it will come into effect from October. Apart, from these safety features, Renault has also provided an updated touchscreen futuristic system in this SUV, as the updated counter. The infotainment System comes with Android Auto, Apple Carplay and wire recognition support. Apart from this, new seat upholstery is also provided in the all-new Updated Renault Capture.
There is no mechanical change in the all-new updated Renault Capture. It will be coming 1.5-litre petrol engine as before, which generates 104 bhp of power and 142 Nm peak torque. The engine is equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Diesel version has a 1.5-litre CRDi engine, which generates 108 bhp of power and 240Nm of peak torque. This engine is equipped with 6-speed manual transmission. Speaking about mileage, the company claims that the Petrol engine will provide a mileage of 13.87 KM/L whereas, the diesel engine will provide 20.37 KM/L.
